Nothing/Nothing Video Project
Are you the next Michel Gondry, Spike Jones, or Chris Cunningham? It's time to prove it for MSSV. We're looking for talented video directors from all over the globe to participate in directing, filming, and editing a short, collaborative work as the visual landscape for //'s forthcoming downtempo release, 'Nothing/Nothing'. We're looking for unique stories, fresh direction, and compelling aesthetics. Shoot as much or as little as you want and then submit your clips to submissions@mssvmusic.com. We will accept submissions until November 2, 2010. Selected videos will be compiled into a DVD that will be released on MSSV! Download the video treatment and get shooting!
Data/Booty
Booty House / Ghetto Tech / Juke House is a musical style that originated out of the Chicago underground and became wildly popular between 1992-1998. Booty House music predominantly features minimal uses of 808 and 909 drum machine and raunchy, sexually explicit repetitive lyric samples. Data/Booty is a re-visitation to the classic Booty House movement. Hit us up if you've got rapping or production skills.
